The bezel wall is 0.55 mm and runs all the way round the oval. A back plate closes the cup behind the stone, with an oval window cut into it, so light still reaches the stone from behind and its point has room.
The loop is soldered to the top of the bezel. The jump ring through it is turned a quarter turn, so the pendant faces forward when it hangs from a chain.
In 18k gold the metal weighs about 1.4 g. The renders show it on a fine cable chain, which is not part of the 3D model.
